Lead Repair Tech
ROLE DESCRIPTION: To keep track of MRB, TBE, and Repair parts as they flow through Repair and Inspection. Help the Supervisor to delegate work to technicians. Run reports and help with processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for tracking the flow of parts and units through the repair process.
Responsible for producing a variety of different reports.
Assist supervisor in the delegation of work to the technicians.
Help verify that processes are appropriate.
Responsible for working with the technicians in order to track product flow.
Ensure that technicians are meeting daily working hours, code of conduct, professional work environment (physically and verbally), dress compliance, performance requirements and specific requests from Management.
Responsible for providing leadership skills, motivation, organization and clean work areas, and meetings on performance and quality issues.
Processing new business opportunities both new and existing accounts with Sales/Business Development, Performance (KPI Key Performance Indicators), reconciliation of projects completion on time, QBR with customers.
Responsible for working with the Program Manager and Customer Service departments in order to prioritize work.
Responsible for working with Warehouse employees to make sure the parts go to the right place.
Continually review current ISO documents for accuracy. Create new ISO documents as needed.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
Ability to work on a PC. This includes data entry, e-mail, and using proprietary software.
Able to work 8 hour shifts Mon-Fri.
Knowledge and ability to operate Word, Excel, BCTop, and Windows.
Able to verbally communicate with other departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Basic knowledge of computer parts.
High school diploma or GED.
