Software Engineer IV

Parsons is hiring a Software Engineer IV to support our client at Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-D) in Dayton, Ohio. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 8+ years of experience delivering software solutions for aerospace or space systems, which could include the following: Hands on design, build, test, and/or fault analysis experience with complex software architectures required Knowledge of DoD space mission integration processes (space vehicle to ground control system, space vehicle to launch vehicle systems, space vehicle to range systems) and experience with risk identification and risk management Ability to effectively engage industry stakeholders, government staff, and technical panels to perform monitoring and assessment responsibilities in support of mission critical preflight risk assessments Ability to engage on multiple concurrent efforts that will each be a different stage of the assessment and evaluation cycle Ability to participate in cross functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system engineering and integration activities Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer sciences, math, or physical sciences from an accredited institution; Advanced degree supporting software system subject matter expertise a plus _ Ready for action?
