JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Channel Development Manager will be responsible for profitable sales generated from Park Place Technologies partner network. The individual in this role will serve as a trusted business advisor. You will develop and execute a strategy for partners to promote and sell Park Place Technologies services and offerings. You will ensure that channel partners are operating as an extension of our direct sales team through effective sales and technical training, demand generation marketing efforts and mutual business planning.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets and exceeds assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic objectives in assigned partner account Develop and maintain executive and key influencer relationships with channel partner firms Fosters and maintains a positive, growing relationship and mindshare with partners and their sales force Engage with the partners sales team by driving programs, initiatives, training participation and pipeline awareness to support opportunity progression Articulate the value of investing in selling Park Place Technologies services to the channel partners Co-sell with partners to close sales opportunities and interact with direct sales on the partner engagement model Proactively lead joint partner planning sessions that are focused on incorporating Park Place Technologies offerings into the partners strategy that meet mutual goals and objectives. Document the goals and assigned action items. Ensure that all are completed to everyones satisfaction. Navigate Park Place Technologies on behalf of the partner to acquire critical resources to help close deals Document account information, contacts, opportunities and s activities in CRM program Stays current with industry changes in technology and influences. Stays current with companys objectives; may lead the company into new, profitable revenue streams. Consistently meets goals and attains quota.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in sales team and other company meetings. Prepares reports. Responds to miscellaneous channel partner and customer requests. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)Education: Bachelors degree in related field (i.e. Information Technology, Business, Marketing) preferred or commensurate experience.Experience: 3+ years of business to business sales Senior. 7+ years of channel experience in a business to business sales environment, including IT oriented sales; knowledge of servers, storage and the ability to provide an integrated solution to prospects and customers is helpful.CRM sales management software experience with a leading platform.Comprehensive knowledge of needs-based selling.Certifications or Licenses: None required.Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, vendors, customers, and/or the general public.Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
